JOIN US TONIGHT

Join us tomorrow evening at 5:30pm as we come together in celebration and remembrance of Richard “Rich” Buckman.

Celebrate the life of Rich, recovery advocate, warrior, and friend, whose impact continues across New York. At THRIVE Suffolk, we will unveil a commemorative plaque, share reflections, and honor the hope and community he built.

The evening will continue through 9pm with food and refreshments, a DJ-led recovery dance in the main room, and a special LIRA One Recovery Meeting in the back conference room.

All are welcome as we gather in unity, remembrance, and celebration of a life that continues to inspire so many. 💙

FOR-NY’s Stand Up for Recovery Day 2026
A beautiful tribute to our beloved Richard Buckman, by Susan Ferraro, Treasurer of the Long Island Recovery Association. We continue to carry the message of hope and build our community through advocacy. Rich was a trailblazer, forging pathways and building bridges to support those who are struggling and to guide those who are traveling their road in recovery.
