Today we celebrate, commemorate and recognize the liberation, resilience and freedom of the enslaved African Americans. 161 years ago, thousands of enslaved people learned that on this day, they were free.

We celebrate the lives, bravery and sacrifices all of these people had to endure 161 years ago.

Black Lives STILL Matter today, tomorrow and so on! ✊🏾
