ACTION ALERT
NYS Warranty Labor Time Allowance Law

Yesterday, the NYS Assembly voted 137-2 and passed our amendments to the law that fixes issues such as a 2026 labor operation not yet posted in All Data / Pro Demand so the tech gets paid the sh*tty factory time allowance.

Today, if we all make the calls, the NYS Senate may vote to do the same but if they do not hear from us we will lose.

Please contact the office of NYS Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart Cousins @ (518) 455-2585 and tell them who you are and that passing s8360 - COONEY this session is a MUST as the vehicle manufacturers are continuing to rip off your skills, knowledge and abilities, skilled labor is not cheap labor!

The Governor’s statement regarding this strike once it began was just an Anti Union smear!

Shame on Governor Hochul, attacking the men and women represented by five Unions rather than calling out the arrogance and ineptitude of MTA management is just outrageous.

We would understand this statement coming from an elected official that did not seek and have labor support but we guess nothing should surprise us lately.

When people show you who they are, believe them!

Local 259 Members approved Constitutional Amendments to the UAW Constitution and all has been filed. We are hopeful and optimistic that the delegates to the 39th UAW Constitutional Convention shall support and adopt each.
