Congratulations to The Huber Opera House and Civic Center for receiving a $2,000 grant from the Hicksville Community Fund, a fund under our Defiance Area Foundation umbrella. This grant will be used for the stage floor replacement project taking place at the Opera House.

Today is the day to get those bikes tuned up and ready for summer. We are also giving away 3 new bikes and several other prizes.

Be sure to bring your kids and their bicycles to the FREE Bike Repair Workshop sponsored by the Hicksville Community Fund. This event will be held during the Hicksville Heritage Days and will be a great opportunity to learn some hands on skills and ensure their bikes are ready to go this summer. In addition to having some local bike experts on hand, we will be giving all kids a chance to win one of two new bikes and lots of other great pizes.
