🎉 Please join us in welcoming Shelle Helton to the Catawba Valley Leadership Foundation Board of Directors!

Shelle earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Wingate University in 2011. After graduation, she moved to Alaska, where she spent four years serving as a Family Advocate for a medical group. This experience strengthened her passion for serving others, building relationships, and advocating for families.

In 2017, Shelle returned to North Carolina to join her family’s business. She currently serves as General Manager of Unifour Financial Services, where she leads teams, oversees operations, and supports the organization’s continued growth.

Shelle is passionate about her family, her faith, leadership, and the community she calls home. She believes investing in people is one of the most meaningful ways to strengthen organizations and communities.

We are grateful to welcome Shelle’s experience, leadership, and heart for others to the CVLF Board as we work to make every life and community better through stronger leaders!

Do you remember someone who believed in you when you were young?

The Strong Student Leader (SSL) Program is looking for caring adults who are willing to invest just one hour a week to help shape the next generation of leaders in our community.
SSL is a leadership development and mentoring program that serves high school students with leadership potential by helping them discover their identity, build healthy relationships, and prepare for their future vocation. Through weekly mentoring and leadership training sessions, students gain confidence, purpose, and the support they need to thrive.
As an SSL mentor, you don't have to have all the answers—you simply need to show up, listen, encourage, and believe in a young person.
