We need someone to pick up a small amount of pet food in Viewmont, about 100 lbs, and delivery it to Hickory Soup Kitchen tomorrow before 1:00 pm.

Thanks to this donation we were able to provide prescription cat food to Fur Babies Rescue in Hickory. Prescription diets can be life-changing for cats with kidney disease, but they can also be costly. We’re grateful to for inviting Sydney’s Friends to be part of their upcoming event. Living Hope does incredible work giving dogs a second chance through their partnership with the New Leash on Life program, where shelter dogs receive training and socialization before finding loving homes.

From all of us at Sydney’s Friends, we are deeply grateful to those who served and especially to those who never made it home. As we spend time with family, friends, and the pets we love, may we also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day.

We’re always happy to support and are grateful to for the amazing work they do through their New Leash on Life program.

This program is so much more than rescue — it’s transformation. Dogs from Catawba County Animal Services are given a second chance through training, structure, patience, and love. At the same time, the offender trainers who work with them every day gain purpose, responsibility, compassion, and hope. It changes lives on both ends of the leash.

We believe in supporting organizations that create real impact in our community, and Living Hope continues to do exactly that. These dogs leave the program more confident, socialized, and ready for forever homes because of the dedication and heart poured into them every single day.

We’re honored to support this mission and thankful for the opportunity to play even a small part in helping these deserving dogs succeed. Seeing rescues, nonprofits, and community programs come together for animals is what it’s all about.

Please give Living Hope Canine Rescue a follow and support their incredible work. The compassion behind this program deserves to be celebrated. Also, Mary Rachel Stine rocks!
