Service League of Hickory

Service League of Hickory Founded in 1937 by a group of ten visionary women, the Service League of Hickory has grown into a dynamic organization of over 200 dedicated members.

For more than 85 years, this all-women nonprofit has been committed to making a lasting impact on the community through education, charity, and public service. Our members have been instrumental in creating and supporting transformative community initiatives, including:

Community Ridge Day Care Center (1952): Providing essential childcare services for working families. Family Guidance Center (195

9): Offering support and counseling to those in need. Catawba Science Center (1975): Inspiring children and families through science education. We are also proud to have awarded scholarships to over 200 local students since 1954, empowering the next generation of leaders. As a league of strong, compassionate women, we are united in our mission to serve others with purpose and heart. Your generosity helps us continue this vital work. Join us in making a difference!
