Catawba County Women Who Care An Organized Giving Circle benefiting the non-profits located in Catawba County. Three, one-hour Impact Meetings are held each year.

An emerging Organized Giving Circle made up of 100+ women who meet three times annually to raise funds for local non-profit charitable organizations. Members of the group commit to contributing $100 at the conclusion of each Impact Meeting (a $300 annual commitment). During the course of an Impact Meeting, local non-profit organizations are nominated by Members and three are selected for vote by drawing. Each organization has 10 minutes to present their charitable cause to the group of Members, after which ballots are cast and votes are counted. Members then make their contributions directly to the Charity decided by the vote of the Members, raising a minimum of $10,000 for each non-profit selected. Informational meetings to be held in February, 2023 and March, 2023 with the Inaugural Impact Meeting to be held in April 2023. Email [email protected] to be added to the list of women wanting additional information.

Hi everyone — we wanted to send a gentle but important reminder regarding member contributions for our most recent award recipient, Women’s Resource Center.

Unfortunately, we are still missing a significant number of payments from members. As you know, the entire mission of Catawba County Women Who Care is built on the power of collective giving. When contributions are not submitted, the organization we voted to support does not receive the full impact we committed to making together.

Women’s Resource Center does incredible work within our community, helping women facing homelessness, crisis situations, and recovery journeys find support, stability, and hope during incredibly difficult seasons of life. They were selected by this group because we believe in their mission and the difference they make every single day.

If you have not yet submitted your contribution, we kindly but urgently ask that you do so as soon as possible so Women’s Resource Center can receive the full support intended from this quarter’s giving circle.

Thank you to everyone who has already contributed and continues to help make this group such a powerful force for good in Catawba County. 🤍

Their impact reaches far beyond what many people ever see — and we are grateful for the difference they make every single day.
