We were able to help another family with food. A single mom with two kids. They needed food. No questions asked. The kids were so excited when they were helping get the groceries out of my car to put in theirs.

There’s a lot of people struggling or just going through a hard time in their life.
It is not up to us to judge or ask. It’s our responsibilities as decent humans to help others in need.

You can’t help everyone all the time, but you should help someone every chance you get 🫶!

Today we were able to help a family in need. No questions asked.

This isn’t a look at me post or we need praise.

This is a single mom who did not want to reach out due to the ridicule of those receiving SNAP so she reached out anonymously at first.

We’ve got to do better.

You can’t help everyone all the time but you should help someone every chance you get.

To clarify the ongoing investigation and what we know, and don’t know.

The court documents reveal that the 16-month-old child was put down for a nap at 11:45 a.m. on Monday and discovered unresponsive at 2:30 p.m. As part of the investigation, police retrieved a video recorder along with a blanket and mattress cover. However, the court documents do not specify the circumstances leading to the charges against Ms. Coffey, leaving many questions unanswered.

Whether you think the daycare or the employee was or was not at fault, the GoFundMe campaign supporting the family has struggled to reach even $5,000. Anyone who has recently arranged a funeral knows that costs can quickly escalate. We must do better for this family no matter what the circumstances were that led to Maddy’s death. They not only face the funeral expenses, but also lost wages and ongoing bills, not to mention the impact this tragedy has on Maddy's three older siblings.

I urge everyone to contribute whatever they can. The disparity in fundraising efforts for various causes is wild—some GoFundMe initiatives receive hundreds of thousands of dollars for far less deserving reasons, some of those reasons would get you punched in the face in my neighborhood, not receive a check for like half a million dollars, and it feels unjust in light of this heartbreaking loss. Let's rally together and support this family in their time of need.
