We couldn’t let Grandparents Day come to an end without putting a face to the names behind the H.D. Wayne Project.

These are the men behind our name — H.D. and Wayne — two grandfathers whose lives, values, and love for their families left a legacy that continues generations later.

The H.D. Wayne Project was created to honor that legacy by giving back, serving others, and investing in the community they called home. We’re proud to carry their names with us in everything we do.

Happy Grandparents Day from the H.D. Wayne Project!

We’re happy to announce that $7,658.00 in funds were raised from the 5th Annual Hickory Flat Rebel Run with net proceeds being $6,510.12. None of this would be possible without buy in from the community. Whether you were a business sponsor, donor, runner, church or just bought a shirt.. THANK YOU! Funds will be reinvested locally through our students and teachers by classroom grants, rewards and incentives, and supporting events within our community. Hope to see everyone back next year!
