Our makerspace gives members access to an impressive collection of tools, machines, work areas, and technology valued at more than $750,000, all designed to help people build, create, repair, prototype, customize, and innovate. Iron Range Makerspace LLC is a co-working space/business incubator that members have access to by paying a monthly membership fee much like a gym operates. The space provides a metal shop, wood shop, and clean shop with equipment such as lathes, laser engravers, 3D printers, and many other items. There are classes or workshops taught on a regular basis to assist the community in finding their talents and increasing their skill set.

Just finished up a couple of awesome 3D carvings at the makerspace! 🔥

We put the machine to work carving Darth Vader and Groot, and they turned out great! It’s always fun seeing a design go from an idea on the screen to a finished piece.

We have been using Paul Bunyan Communications for years in both of our properties in Hibbing, MN. That used to be a fairly exclusive deal in our small town; however the good news that we have to share is that Paul Bunyan is now going to provide its amazing fiber internet for residents and other businesses in Hibbing. It was another “let’s see what this machine can do!” kind of week in the Makerspace! 😎

🪧 Bargain Basement’s new sign is officially UP!�Made right here in the Makerspace and now proudly on display!

⚙️ The rotary CNC router came to life!�We fired it up for its first turning project, opening up a whole new world of possibilities. Round things, you’re officially on notice. 👀
�We tackled a LARGE foam Pokémon carving! 🐉🎨 CNC + Pokémon = a pretty awesome combination.
Another week of making, learning, experimenting, and probably vacuuming up a mountain of sawdust. 😂
