HOPE Springs 5K HOPE Springs 5K is a run/walk fundraiser in Hibbing, MN . Proceeds benefit the HOPE Fund which assists patients at the Essentia Health Cancer Center in Hibbing.

Welcome to the 2nd Annual HOPE Springs 5K walk/run and Kid's Fun Run on April 26 in Hibbing, MN. The proceeds will benefit

the Hibbing Oncology Patient Emergency (HOPE) Fund. The monies will assist patients at the Essentia Health ambulatory infusion center (AIC) in Hibbing. A cancer diagnosis not only causes an emotional and physical strain on patients, but also a financial strain. We want to be able to assist our patients and give them HOPE! How the Event Got Started: A small group of Essentia Hibbing Infusion Center employees saw a need by the clinic's patients and decided to do something about it. The HOPE Fund Committee was newly established in December 2012. The committee sought to establish the HOPE Fund and put on an annual event to aid those patients who are feeling the added strain of their resources. The patients become part of the infusion family and the committee's personal mission is to ensure the patients receive and get access to the help they need physically, emotionally, and financially.

We regret to inform all of our faithful participants that our race series (HOPE, Courage, & Strength) is canceled. We were unable to find the leadership and volunteers needed, so the staff at Essentia clinics will be looking at other ways to raise funds for our patients! Thank you all for your support and participation in the last 8 years. We will greatly miss this event!

As seasons come and seasons go, our race directing volunteers are no longer able to help with HOPE 5K or Courage 5k. In order for these events continue we need someone who is willing to volunteer their time and energy to this great cause! If you are interested in leading, please message us for more details. If you are interested in volunteering, you do not need to direct both races. Thank you!!

We are planning a local packet pick up on TUESDAY JUNE 30th from 3-7 pm in the Hibbing Memorial Arena parking lot!

We ask that you follow social distancing guidelines and we can even have us deliver it to your car!

All participants should have received an email with details. Please message us for other arrangements if you would like to save the HOPE Fund shipping costs. The more local packets we can distribute, the more money we can give directly to our patients! Thank you all so much for your patience!

(Strength 5k is now in the process of ordering T-shirt’s and will notify you of packet shipping at a later date!)
