Dave and Kay's Christmas story
More than 1 1/2 years ago, Kay learned that a co-worker had this wrecker sitting in a field. Kay attempted to purchase it for Dave. But it was not for sale. And, she didn’t tell Dave about it. Over the course of the next year and a half, she tried to persuade the owner to sell it or donate it in order to preserve some of our racing heritage. Then one day, just a few weeks ago, before leaving for work she informed Dave that he must remain at home to accept a delivery that would be made that morning. Still not telling Dave what was to be delivered. Imagine Dave’s surprise when the delivery turned out to be this wrecker. The owner not only delivered it, but had donated it in order to preserve some of our racing history. You can expect to see it at some selected Northern Renegades events. Yeah, I'm a lucky guy.
