This week, we lost a global icon with the passing of Dolly Parton. Inspired by her father, who never had the chance to learn to read or write, Dolly made early childhood literacy her lifelong mission. Through her Imagination Library, she placed more than 330 million free books directly into the hands of children under five. Our hearts are heavy, but her light will forever shine through the millions of young minds she inspired.
