BWEEMS works to support, uplift, and connect Black women and Femmes across ecology, evolution, marine science, and related fields through community-building, mentorship, programming, and professional support. As we strengthen our organizational structure for the future, we are looking for people who are aligned with our mission and excited to help build what comes next.

We hope these opportunities reach people with strong community connections, cultural responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to Black women and femmes in ecology, evolution, and marine science. We welcome applicants who bring cultural competency, lived experience, and/or demonstrated experience working with and supporting Black women and femmes in professional, academic, scientific, or community settings.
