🎨✨🧩🛝SENSORY PLAY DAY🛝🧩✨🎨

We didn’t just play… we felt, moved, and learned!!

Our Sensory Play Day was intentionally designed to support the whole child through multiple sensory systems:

✨ Proprioceptive (heavy work): pushing, pulling, and racing with weighted objects
✨ Vestibular (movement & balance): obstacle courses, balance beams, and scooter play
✨ Fine motor: Play-Doh self-portraits, pincher sorting, and hand-strength activities
✨ Tactile (sensory bins): exploring textures to promote calm and regulation

Students not only built strength, coordination, and body awareness, but also learned how different sensations impact their mood, focus, and emotions.

We ended by creating self-portraits and sharing what makes us unique

Because sensory play isn’t just fun—it’s foundational.

Last Friday, our students took part in an exciting FECC Play Day Assembly, where they learned important values like respect, trustworthiness, responsibility, and kindness — all through hip-hop, movement, and music! 🎶💛

The energy in the room was incredible! When kids learn through rhythm and movement, the message really sticks — and the smiles said it all 🧡

Today our FECC kids celebrated the 50th day of school in the most adorable way… by stepping back into the 1950s! 🎶✨

From poodle skirts and leather jackets to slicked-back hair, rolled jeans, bobby socks, and cat-eye glasses — our little ones looked AMAZING! 😍
The smiles, the dancing, the giggles… they had so much fun celebrating together! 💗🕺💃
