Breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m., and we look forward to serving those who have served us! ❤️🤍💙

After our meeting, members helped sort eyeglasses that will be mailed to the Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center in Midland, Texas. 👓📦 At the Recycling Center, volunteers will clean, read prescription strengths, and box the donated glasses. 🧼👓 Then, volunteers will prepare eyewear to be supplied to medical and church mission groups serving underprivileged communities globally and domestically. 🌍🙏

If you have any eyeglasses that you are not currently using, send them our way. 🤓📬

Starting off August by ensuring our community is cleaner with members picking up trash from our adopted highway on Moonlight. We started early to beat the heat, and even had some amazing high school students from Robinson High School & Waco High School help us out! 🚮🛣️☀️

💙💛 Serving with Heart at the Ronald McDonald House 💛💙

Today, members of the Robinson Area Lions Club had the privilege of preparing and serving a home-cooked meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Temple, TX.

When a child is receiving medical care, the last thing families should have to worry about is what's for dinner. Our club purchased the groceries, then our members came together to prepare and serve a warm meal. We hope it provided a small moment of comfort, nourishment, and love during what can be a difficult time.

A huge thank you to all of our Lions who helped shop, prepare, cook, and serve the meal. It truly takes many hands to serve our community, and today was a wonderful reminder of what can be accomplished when we come together.

We Serve isn't just our motto—it's what we do.

Every day, being part of the Lions community fills us with pride, and yesterday's experience reinforced our commitment to service.

The Robinson Area Lions Club, along with Lions and Leos from MD 2 X3 Lions and North Texas and other community members, joined forces to build beds for Sleep In Heavenly Peace - TX, Waco, benefiting the Waco community and Texas Lions Camp. With 100 volunteers on board, we shared a common objective: to serve and make sure no kid sleeps on a floor.

Recognizing the risks associated with the heat, our leaders wisely chose to wrap up the build at noon, ensuring everyone's safety and health. This thoughtful decision enabled us to preserve our ability to serve. Our hard work resulted in 47 fully constructed beds and substantial progress on 53 more. This accomplishment showcases the power of teamwork and dedication.

Tomorrow is the day! Sleep In Heavenly Peace - TX, Waco & MD 2 X3 Lions come together for a powerful collaboration, constructing 75 beds for Texas Lions Camp and 25 beds for the Waco community. Don't miss Brad Hinrichs, VP of the SHP Chapter of Waco, and Lion Mandy Moss, member of the Robinson Area Lions Club, sharing their perspectives on the build tonight at 9 p.m. on Channel 44 News.
