A big thank-you to everyone who helped organize the Hesstival this Saturday! What a fantastic event for the Hesston community!

The Hesston Lions Club was proud to be part of the festivities. Thank you to the 139 people who stopped by our booth and picked up an information card! We also enjoyed helping direct traffic throughout the day.

At our monthly Lions Club, we were honored host some incredible youth, as they shared about the Real H-Town Camp. What an incredible program for our youth to get to know area businesses! Susan Lamb is the programs administrator, and it is supported Hesston Recreation & Community Education. This program is one example of many that helps bring pride to our community and connection. Hats off to all!

Hesston Lion’s Highway Pickup

We had a great turnout for our fall highway trash pickup today! The Hesston College Women’s Flag Football team joined the Hesston LIONS CLUB this morning, and together we collected 26 bags of trash along the interstate!

A big thank-you to everyone who helped make the morning a success, including HC Athletic Director Andrew Sharp, Coach Joel Graber, and Hesston Pizza Hut for providing discounted pizza for our hardworking crew.

And a special thank-you to Lions Andrew Sharp, Susan Lamb (providing donuts), Chuck Buller, Buddy Martin, Dale Koehn, and Craig Gingerich for giving their time to serve our community.

We greatly appreciate the Hesston College Women’s Flag Football team for pitching in and helping us keep our community beautiful! Great group of student athletes!

If you have some time this weekend, come out and support the team at their women’s flag football scrimmage, along with the many other sporting events happening during Hesston College Homecoming weekend. https://hesston.edu/about/news/article/athletic-focus-of-homecoming-celebration-to-include-special-alumni-recognitions-and-community-events/
