Another praise! 🙌

We have been blessed with the use of a school bus for the summer! This is a huge answer to prayer and will help us transport campers to and from the pool during the week, as well as assist with camper pickup and drop-off.

We are so grateful for God’s provision and for those who make camp possible through their generosity! ❤️

In the middle of all the camp prep, schedules, and last-minute details, we got to slow down for an evening and enjoy something we value deeply—fellowship around the table with our incredible summer camp leadership team.

We only remembered to snap a few photos, but what a blessing this group is! We’re so grateful for each person who is giving their time, energy, and heart to make camp possible for so many kids this summer. We can’t wait to see all that God has in store in the weeks ahead! ❤️

Leadership Training Week completed ✔️

And we have THREE more team members on their way!

Just over a week ago, we shared that we still needed two Counselor Coaches, a Worship Leader, and a Staff Manager for this summer’s camps. Today, we’re celebrating God’s faithfulness as He has met each of those needs.

Shay’Lynn saw our Facebook post and applied to be a Counselor Coach. A youth pastor from McPherson came for a tour, heard that we were praying for a Worship Leader, and today her husband said YES to serving as our Worship Leader and filling our second Counselor Coach position. Then our Head Cook Linda’s daughter agreed to come and serve —and the story keeps going!

Sometimes we simply have to hold on to faith and trust that God will provide the people, resources, and support needed to accomplish the mission He’s given us.

As Leadership Training Week comes to a close, we’re celebrating new friendships, deeper connections, and a team that is growing stronger every day. We are filled with anticipation for what God is going to do in the lives of the children who will walk through our doors this summer.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, shared our posts, and believed with us. We are expecting miracles, healing, hope, and life-changing encounters with Jesus this summer at Camp David International.

We need 10 more male counselors for Teen Boys Week // June 8–13.

These teenage boys don’t need perfect people.
They need guys who will show up.
Guys who will listen.
Guys who will encourage them and remind them their story isn’t over.

Many of these teens are coming from rough homes, struggling with mental health, trauma, loneliness, and feeling like nobody understands what they’re carrying.

One week could change everything for a kid who’s never had someone consistently speak life into them.

If you’re a college-age guy looking to make a real impact this summer, we need you.

You don’t have to have all the answers — just a heart willing to mentor, support, and be present.
