After living with seizures 27 years I had a right temporal lobectomy and am currently seizure and medication free. I decided to start a non profit in 2013 to help spread awareness and smash the stigmas

Epilepsy has affected people from all walks of life, including artists, musicians, writers, athletes, activists, and performers.

While every epilepsy journey is different, these well-known individuals are often cited in historical records or personal accounts as having lived with epilepsy. Their stories remind us that a diagnosis does not always define a person or limit their potential.

Today, more than 3 million people in the United States are living with epilepsy, each with their own unique experiences, challenges, and accomplishments.
