Late post but we wanted to make sure this was shared with our HD community members;
It is with the deepest thanks and sense of gratitude that we give recognition to Disabled American Veterans Chapter 92 (DAV92).

Your contributions not only helped feed families, it brought a sense of security and normalcy to people that truly deserve it while facing such uncertain times.

It is with your support that families of various backgrounds were able to have a hot meal and share a holiday as a community at our thanksgiving event.
We thank you on behalf of our clients, both veterans and civilians, for caring about our communities.

Yesterday was nothing short of magical. 💙 Our Toy Giveaway in partnership with Assemblymember Juan Carrillo was an unforgettable day of service, joy, and community. Together, we were able to serve over 500 children, filling the day with endless smiles, laughter, and memories as families picked out toys and snapped photos with Santa. 🎄🎅

We are beyond grateful to Assemblymember Juan Carrillo and his incredible team for believing in this mission and standing with our community in such a powerful way. Thank you as well to the City of Adelanto & Mayor Pro Tem Daniel Ramos, Adelanto Stadium & Events Center, Frank Kelly, New Life Facility, CHAN, Desert Democracy Project, 34th St. Prep Academy, and Tasha Champion - The Shenomenal Coach.

And to our incredible volunteers — from setting up tables, to distributing toys, to capturing special moments and taking photos with Santa for families — we truly could not have done this without you. Your time, energy, and hearts made this day possible, and we are so deeply grateful for each and every one of you. 🙏🏼

Each of you helped make this day extra special for families who truly needed a moment of brightness this season. In the grand scheme of life, seeing parents and children create memories together — especially during a holiday season with so much at stake for so many — is everything to us.

Our Thanksgiving Together event on Thanksgiving Day went exceptionally well. With over 100 tummies fed, we definitely have a lot to be thankful for.

THANK YOU to our sponsors Assemblyman Juan Carrillo, Desert Democracy Project, Randall Putz for AD34, & Hesperia Councilman Chris Ochoa for being our top sponsors for this event. It is with your support and commitment towards uplifting our communities that we are able to expand our programs and create events that are more than “outings” to our clients, these sort of activities and events are symbolic and reminders of just how far compassion and local action can really go.
Thanks to your generous sponsorship we were able to also provide an activity table for all the kiddos that attended, which included coloring books, crayons, markers, colored pencils, stickers, and cookie decorating kits! Small details like this help children and families feel more comfortable and welcomed at events like these.

Thank you to MMMedia, Tessa Lynn Hodge for CD23, Not Stepping Back and HD Boss Moms for lending your skills and expertise toward the areas you each led and contributing more than just your time, but also giving your positive energy and genuine warmth toward each and every person that joined us for Thanksgiving.

💛 15% of all regular menu items & soft drinks will be donated to Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice (ICIJ) — an organization fighting every day to protect immigrant rights, keep families together, and make sure our communities are safe and supported.

Thank you to everyone who came out tonight for ChangeMakers Meet-Up! 💥 Your support made a difference—especially by showing love to Rock’n Our Disabilities Foundation just by having dinner 🍽️💙

A BIG thank you to those of you who donated backpacks and school supplies for our 2nd Annual Back To School Bash on 8/2 🙌🏼☺️ you are all absolutely incredible for remembering our local youth-in-need

We loved seeing the community connect, the kids WIN the games (against the adults!), and so many of you walk away with prizes, resources, and new knowledge from our amazing guest speakers. 🙌🎉
