Over the past two weeks the Perquimans County FCS and 4-H Agents have been leading Cook with a Book. This program was provided to all Elementary classrooms and reached over 900 youth. During Cook with a Book kids listened to a book about gardens, learned knife safety skills, and put those skills to use cooking their own delicious and healthy snack. This program was planned, coordinated, and led by our FCS Agent Sarah Sowders. Sarah created a wonderful program that was educational and fun for all!
