Camp Catherine

We've begun March Maintenance Madness Month. We have a lot to do to get camp ready for the summer season. If you or your Troop is interested in helping out or getting some service hours, visit our webpage to see what we'd love to have help with. You can pick a task, and pick your day to help. Just coordinated with us after looking at the list. Local troops or groups that help can even stay at camp for less or even free. Thanks so much!

After 2 days it is looking better at camp. Thanks to Heath, Elaine, Mary, Anne for cleaning up, Rich worked the chain saw yesterday. A very special THANKS to Scott and Caleb for working chainsaws on the trails. The work isn't done yet.

Any help would greatly be appreciated. Trails are blocked and behind the lodge is unsafe. Please contact us at campcatherinehershey.org if you are able and willing to help. Thanks

Hershey Troop 65 was a huge help this weekend as they enjoyed camping and providing service hours. They placed fresh mulch around the Lodge, Adirondacks, and in the chapel area. They also sealed and stained the deck on the side of the Lodge, and seasoned our brand new, custom made grate that goes with our newly rebuilt BBQ(by one of their Eagle Scouts). So glad they could be the first to use the new BBQ (as part of a Cooking Merit Badge requirement).

Without any heavy equipment to use, board members are forced to make repairs to the lane the old fashion way…with buckets & shovels.

A big Thank you to Todd from Stoner's Tree Service for swinging by and graciously taking down a broken limb for us during our Maintenance Month.

A big thank you to Eli Griffith from Hershey Troop 65 for our new Game Shed that he completed as his Eagle Project. It’ll keep all our outdoor games well organized and accessible for our guests.
