📢 **Volunteers Needed — Troop 203 70th Anniversary Celebration (2027)**

We are excited to announce that our Troop will be celebrating its **70th Anniversary in 2027**, and we are beginning the early stages of planning. To make this a truly special occasion, we are seeking interested adults to join a **planning committee**.

**Event Details (Tentative):**
— 📍 Venue: The Barn on Milton Hershey's campus
— 🍽️ Format: Catered dinner
— 📅 Timing: To be determined in 2027

**How You Can Help:**
— Assist in connecting with former Scouts, parents, and troop leaders
— Help organize and participate in a planning committee
— Contribute ideas to make this milestone memorable

Troop 203 is officially in the final countdown to our Annual Spaghetti Fundraiser! Our scouts have been working incredibly hard, and we are so close to our goal.
The Details:
• When: This Sunday, Feb 8th
• Time: 11:30am to 1:30pm
• Where: The Fellowship Hall at First United Methodist Church
(64 W. Chocolate Ave., Hershey)
• Options: Dine In or Take Out
• What's Included: Pasta with your choice of sauce, salad, a fresh roll, and a drink!
• Desserts available for purchase at our Bake Sale table
Ticket Prices:
• Adults: $15
• Kids (3-12): $8
• Under 3: Free!

The 2024 Hershey Troop 203 Chess Tournament is underway! Round one was Monday, Round Two still to come. Lots of excellent strategy shown by the boys. And a special shout out to Phil from Fenicci's of Hershey for providing a beautiful collection of chess sets collected from around the world for the boys to compete on.

Well....FINALLY....its here. SNOW. Or we hope so. You know what else is finally back? WEEKLY SCOUT MEETINGS! Woohoo!

We will pick up normal meetings for 2024 here on Monday, Jan 8th. 6:30 PM at the Church. We will be diving back into Klondike prep, some merit badge stuff, and some other games.

As always, bring your books! And boys/parents alike, keep an eye on Discord. There are pop up activities that people post (there may be a hike this weekend!) that we post fairly frequently. If you'll be sledding, need help shoveling, or anything else post it on Discord and see if someone will join you.

If we don't see you launching snowballs on Saturday, see you Monday night!

MERRY CHRISTMAS Hershey Troop 203! Don't forget that tomorrow night at 6:30 will be our special holiday meeting at the Keystone Slotcar Raceway And Hobby No uniform required! Parents are encouraged to hang out and participate if they like. It will be a lot of fun. There is a fee (based on the number attending) that should be around $10, and snacks are also available for cash.
