Tonight, our Webelo den had a visit from Representative Tom Mehaffie and Tax Collector Lou Paioletti to learn about the role of elected officials and the election process.

Our Arrow of Light den found a gap in a rainy week to go fishing! Thank you to Troop 203 scouts for helping out!

We really missed an opportunity to name this event something like “Launching Into the School Year,” or “Ending Summer With A Blast,” but Pack 203 came out in force for rocket night last night. Scouts demonstrated enthusiasm, creativity, building skills, and positive attitudes when rockets didn’t perform quite as planned. Great job 203!

Last night we held our final pack meeting of the 2023-24 school year. Our pack has grown immensely over the past year, and we couldn’t have done it without the dedication of our den leaders.

In Saturday, members of the Bears den traveled to Swatara State Park to search for fossils. Many were found! We discussed how animals have gone extinct in the last 100 years, and the events that led to their extinction.

Then we hiked out to visit an old loch that was part of the Union Canal and learned a bit of local history while we examined local flora and fauna.

The Pack 203 Wolf Den had an early Earth Day clean up day! They collected trash in the stream behind the rec center and learned the importance of keeping our watersheds clean.
