The Herrin City Library will host author Angela Mason on March 18, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the Tony Gailnes Meeting Room. She has received rave reviews for her book, “Death Rides The Sky” about the 1925 Tri- State Tornado. She will speak and present a slideshow with about seventy-five photographs. The program is booked on the anniversary of the tornado…March 18th. Copies of the book will be available to purchase. The event is free and open to the public. Program coordinator for the event is Lisa Carnaghi with the Herrin History Room at the Library. The Herrin History Room presents programs of interest monthly about historical events in the region.

Herrin City Library Guest Speaker/Canceled for Friday, January 21 at 2 p.m. due to the rise in Covid cases in the region. The program will be re-scheduled.
