The Kiwanis Club of Herrin is a civic/service organization consisting of volunteers dedicated to raising money and conducting service projects to benefit local children. The club is part of Kiwanis International, a global organization dedicated to community service, leadership training, and charitable causes, all to benefit the children of the world. The club has just been chartered, but the vision includes sponsoring youth leadership clubs such as the Circle K club for college students at SIUC, a Key Club for high school students at Herrin High School, and a Terrific Kids program recognizing elementary school students at Herrin Elementary School. Annual fundraisers include Kiwanis Pancake Day, Kiwanis Peanut Day and others. The club would also like to potentially provide college scholarships annually to HHS seniors planning to attend SIU and John A Logan, and to a deserving Circle K student at SIU. To send us mail:
