Highlights:
1) Inspite of the tropical storm/rain we had more than 70% turn out. We had a total of 325 registrations and approximately 240 showed up for the race.
2) Every one who checked in for the race finished the race and we had diverse crowd with runners from 10 to 83 years of age.
3) Medals were custom made and we engraved finishers name with their time in the back
4) Post race food was from local business ( Pizza (Aroma grill) and Pies(Loudounberry) - Family business) - Giving back to community
5) We will be making donations like last year from the race proceeds to C&O Canal trust and EMS (Local fire departments)
6) Proceeds after expenses will be used to support Team AIMS Projects globally.

India Literacy Project partners with AIMS India Foundation to provide 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘀 to AIMS staff and its partner NGO staff.

AIMS India Foundation is currently working with 5 NGOs geographically spread across Tamil Nadu 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟬𝟬+ 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟭𝟬𝟬+ 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀/𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝟲𝟬𝟬𝟬+ 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹.

In the two-day training, 𝟰𝟰 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝟰𝟬+ 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 and they enjoyed this experiential learning.

A big "𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂" 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 for helping organize this training program.

The science kits provide a space for children to observe, understand, experiment, and discuss various aspects of science and the things around them.

Students can touch, feel and build without fear of breaking expensive items.

The science kit is aligned with National Council of Educational Research and Training - NCERT curriculum from grades 5 -10.

The goal of the science kits is not just to simplify subject understanding, but also to increase scientific temper.

Dear Patrons/Donors/Runners/Supporters/Volunteers -

We had a great finish to our Sofa to 5K program last weekend with a fun filled Team AIMS 5K Run. We Kick started the Marathon Training Program this morning and we look forward to another successful season of training, running, fun and finally racing. Registrations for all the three programs are full. Thank you all for the trust you have with Team AIMS. Let's get rolling.

For single mothers in rural India who have no access to education, a livelihood is hard to come by. Especially when raising a baby alone.

We at AIMS partnered with the Literates Welfare Association (LAW) in January to provide such mothers in rural South India with a tailoring bootcamp and a sewing machine free of cost, encouraging them to start their own businesses and provide for themselves in a world that relegates them to the home.

This , join us in recognizing the struggle of these young women and empowering .
