Today was native plant delivery! The delivery truck was 15 minutes early but our scouts were already there waiting at 6:45 am!! They unloaded the plants, sorted, and started putting together orders. We didn't expect to finish until 11 but we were done before 9:30! The scouts that still needed to deliver their plants loaded up their plants and left with their parents. 1500 plants and almost 200 orders complete! Well done!!

We've had a flood of last minute orders so we're keeping the sale open until Tuesday. We have 4 bluebells left, 2 bee balm, and we're running low on milkweed, phlox, and aster but haven't checked the numbers recently.

💙 Woods Light Blue Aster is one of those plants that keeps on giving long after summer is over — and the science behind it is fascinating!
💙 Over 100 species of bees specialize in asters, meaning they collect pollen exclusively or primarily from asters, making them truly irreplaceable in a healthy pollinator garden
🌿 Asters support specialist caterpillars too, with several moth and butterfly species that can only complete their life cycle on asters, making them as ecologically important as milkweed is for monarchs
💙 And the benefits don't stop when the blooms fade — goldfinches and other small birds feed on aster seed heads through fall and winter, giving you beautiful wildlife activity in the garden well into the cold months

'Woods Light Blue' is one of the most garden-friendly asters you can grow, staying a compact and tidy 12-18 inches without staking or fussing. Available now in our Scout plant sale — grab yours before they're gone! 👇

💛 Little Lemon Goldenrod is a late-season superstar that delivers when the rest of the garden is winding down — and the facts behind it are just as impressive as the plant!
💛 Goldenrod is one of the most ecologically valuable plants in North America, with over 100 species of bees depending on it as a primary food source along with dozens of butterfly and moth species
🌿 'Little Lemon' is a compact dwarf variety that tops out at just 12-18 inches, unlike wild goldenrod that can reach 4-5 feet, making it perfectly behaved in even the tidiest garden border
💛 It blooms late in the season by design, flowering in late summer and fall when almost nothing else is blooming, making it a critical lifeline for monarchs fueling up for their long migration to Mexico
A little plant with a big ecological punch, 'Little Lemon' is available now in our Scout plant sale. Grab one before they're gone! 👇

Solidago 'Little Lemon' is a compact, clump-forming goldenrod that lights up the late summer and fall garden with airy sprays of soft lemon-yellow flowers. Unlike taller goldenrods, this dwarf variety stays neat and manageable, making it ideal for borders, small garden spaces, and containers. It thr...
