James 2: 14-17
What good us it my brother if someone says he has faith but he dies bot have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food and one of you says to them, go in peace, be warmed and filled without giving them the thingsvneeded for the body, what goo's is that? So also faith by itself, of it does not have works is dead

Proverbs 19:17 Whiever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they hsve done.

Though there are many scriptures that speak on giving back to the needy these are the two I am referencing today.

I am in the the process of putting together under my company " The Journee Home LLC a mobile Storehouse where I will be giving out essential items to anyone in need. I will have pop up Storehouses at various homeless shelters as well as conveniently located places all throughout Fairfax County.

This will be done once a month in order to provide needed items throughout the course of the year.

I want to do my part in supporting anyone in need, by not just praying for them but giving them needed items they can use.

If you would like assist me in my efforts, you can do so by donating essentials, gas cards, food gift cards, visa gift cards,or if you would like to donate your time please dm me as well for more information.

I am in the planning stages trying to get the sites listed I will be taking the storehouse to. However, I should have a start date to share in the coming weeks.

Good morning today I celebrate my birthday and I continue to walk in gratitude while embracing this new journey of so many wonderful blessings. I don't take for granted the very first blessing of life today and for that God I say thank you.

I am grateful for the opportunity to grow even closer to God, truly lean in and hear his voice, his direction for my life. I understand that life will bring challenges and trials but I know that they come to only make me stronger, and push me to truly trust God the more so I walk in life with faith and assurance that I can get through anything , any situation for I have God on my side.

I take in each day with different eyes now appreciating the more all the beauty each day beholds. I truly take in moments in my day and really lean into what each day brings to my life. I take note of my senses as I go through each day- how do I feel, what do I see, what do I smell , what do I know in that very moment about me.

This new year for me comes differently. It's more about truly seeing things in a different perspective and walking in each day working towards being an even better me spiritually, physically, mentally, socially, financially. Confidently walking in my purpose but being more in tune to God's direction. No longer questioning why things occur the way they do in my life, but I truly know all things happen for a reason.

I am forever grateful for this new perspective, this new year, this journey I am on and I'm excited to see all the wonderful and beautiful things this new year will bestow . Happiest of Birthdays to me!!!!

This birthday this year sits differently for me. I still celebrate me all month but Im doing it in a way more about celebrating life through experiences,. celebrating all beauty that is around me and getting more healthier. I don't think we take the time to really enjoy what each day brings and look for the experiences that can come about in each day.

This morning I took a walk to preview the park that I Will be hosting my first wellness walk for my group. I wanted to take the walk alone first and truly take in all the beauty that was around me. All the beauty that God has created. This was a beautiful experience of being one with nature, listening to all the sounds of the different creatures God created, looking at beautiful lake and the ripples that were moving throughout the lake so peacefully, looking at all the beautiful trees and truly being hankful for this moment to experience another blessed day.

August is a beautiful time for me. A time that I take for granted but truly walk in gratitude to be alive and able to take in yet another beautiful experience on this day.
