Join our friends over at tomorrow night, April 29th for Denim Day 💙

What is Denim Day? In Italy, in the 90s, a woman's ra**st was convicted, then freed by the Supreme Court, which ruled that the survivor's tight jeans implied constant. Outraged by this verdict, Italian Parliament members wore jeans in protest. This spread to California, and Peace Over Violence created Denim Day to challenge victim blaming myths and to show solidarity with survivors of sexual violence.

Because of your generosity, we’re thrilled to share that we raised a total of $10,000 for the Joyful Heart Foundation! 💫
For over two decades, Joyful Heart has carried out its mission to support survivors’ healing and transform the way our society responds to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse. Your contribution helps fund programs that make a lasting difference, including:
Policy & Advocacy: Closing systemic gaps, ending the r**e kit backlog, and protecting survivors from image-based abuse.
Community Healing: Supporting those who care for survivors, nurses, advocates, and crisis workers, through the Heal the Healers program.
Awareness & Community Building: Fostering understanding and connection through initiatives like the Joyful Heart Virtual Book Club and regional community groups.
Your generosity fuels these efforts and moves us closer to a more compassionate, just world for survivors.
We’re already hard at work planning the 3rd Annual MedleyFest, and we can’t wait to keep honoring Medley’s beautiful memory and supporting the causes she cared so deeply about.

Our 2nd Annual MedleyFest was nothing short of amazing - full of music, laughter, hugs, and so much love. We’re beyond grateful for everyone who showed up, donated, danced, and helped make the night one to remember. ✨
Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $3,500 to be donated to the Joyful Heart Foundation, helping support survivors and bring hope and healing where it’s needed most.
We can’t thank you enough for continuing to show up and keep Medley’s spirit alive through this foundation. Your love and support mean the world to us, and we’re already looking forward to the next one. 💜

We want to remind and invite everyone to our party happening on October 4th at 1 Memphis St in Hernando, MS starting at 6:30 p.m. 💜💛💚💙
It’ll be a special night filled with live music, good company, and meaningful purpose, supporting of the Joyful Heart Foundation, which works to transform society’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse while prioritizing survivors’ healing. 💫

And it's time we talk about it more. Everyone around us is struggling internally with things we have no clue about. We all can make a difference by being informed and willing to lend a helping hand.

We believe that open conversation, accessible resources and community support are some of the variables to a brighter, more hopeful future. Check in on your people. Your friends, family, neighbors.
