Hello all, it has been a while since I have posted on here, or done anything to further this ministry for a while now. In 2019, that WILL change, let me explain further.
As most of you probably know, 2018 was a tough year for our family. We had the joy of welcoming a perfect baby boy, TheHeir, but it came with the trials of a near-miss experience and life saving blood transfusion for myself during his birth. This has tested us in so many ways. Our family is stronger in God and each other because of it but we still have a lot of growing to do.
With all of that being said, I do not want myself holding back what this ministry can do. YALL have already proven that Love Broke Thru WILL do great things for the children in foster care in DeSoto County and Mississippi. LBT was originally intended to be a group home in the Lawrence household first and foremost (this being how it is filed with the state). While educating others and eventually spreading to support other families wanting to foster. I now have a new vision of what LBT will be outside of just our home. However this does mean we have to refile paperwork with the state with the new mission and goals.
There is an organization currently operating in Tennessee called Isaiah 117 House. Basically they provide a home, run by volunteers, for children to wait a foster care placement. (check out everything they do here https://isaiah117house.com/) I have been in contact with the founder, we are working out the details but the hope is that we are able to partner in the same mission, her taking over Tennessee and LBT taking over Mississippi! Please continue to pray for our family’s healing, for Love Broke Thru to be put to use, for the talks with Isaiah 117 House to work out positively, for the paperwork that has to be refiled, and MOST importantly pray for the children, parents of these children, and the foster parents currently serving DeSoto county!
I am deleting my personal Facebook account as soon as possible, but I will still have messenger and Love Broke Thru will still be an active page I can see.
