It has been planned for some time, just working on finances to get it underway!! I would like to thank our hard working Ladies who made this past weekend a success!! Casey Leavitt Jennifer Reid, you both are a TREMENDOUS help to Giving Tree Mocc, and I love & appreciate you BOTH!! Thanks to these 2 Ladies, we had a GREAT DAY at House of Power Church in Hernando, giving away FREE yard sale items to those who came out in support of our efforts! We also held up signs for May 25th, as it is National Missing & Exploited Children's Day! We also honored the precious little ones who lost their lives yesterday in the Uvalde, Texas school shooting, by having drivers driving by the church, HONK their HORN in honor of these dear precious souls! We Pray for those families and their loved ones!! Giving Tree Mocc would like to THANK THOSE who HONKED their HORN in Honor & also those who stopped by to support Giving Tree Mocc. We love our community & we want to do so much more! If you can support us by sharing our Ministry with others, and sharing this post too, we surely would appreciate it! More can & will be done, but only by the Grace of God! Love your children while they are young! They are only young once!!

Please remember, that if you request items from our donation bins, and we make arrangements to bring them to your home due to your inability to drive, that it is best to honor the time we have taken, and the gas we have used, to come out to help you. If you know we are coming, and you disregard the plans, then it will be on you to come to us to pick up what you need, from now on. We do understand emergencies happen. There is always someone you can contact if you are needing to reschedule. Just please don't wait until we are at your door to do so. This Ministry is here to help our community, and we are glad to help, but you must honor the plans you made, as gas is not free. Giving Tree Mocc thanks everyone for their support and understanding of this request.

We are planning an event for May 25th in Inverness. This day is Missing & Exploited Children's Day. Our plan is to hold up signs letting passer-byes, know that it is a special day. We are also planning to pass out fliers of missing kids here in Citrus County, for those who are walking by. This day was first recognized by Ronald Reagan. He made May 25th, Missing Children's Day in honor of Etan Patz, a 6 year old boy who disappeared in NYC. We hope to shed some light on this issue, because every day, more and more kids are disappearing! Please come and support us in this cause! We will give the details of exactly where we will be, as soon as we have those details available!
