CALL TO — FINAL PHASE: DREAM BIGGER (2026)

I’m reaching out to anyone in who is willing to step up and help us complete the ADA Lodge build this year.

After three years of planning, fighting, and believing—we are finally here.
We secured the funding based on what we set out to build. But with rising costs and the commitment to make this lodge fully ADA accessible, we’re going to need to lean on ReBoot Nation one more time.

And truthfully… we don’t like asking.

We are still 100% grassroots.
No payroll. No shortcuts. No one getting rich.
Everything you see every hunt, every trip, every moment of healing costs our Veterans and First Responders zero dollars.

The people running it?
They do it because they believe in the mission.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Over 6,000 Veterans a year are still taking their own lives.

This property Camp Byron was built for them.
For those carrying weight most people will never understand. Operation Reboot outdoors owns the property no singular person or persons own it. Which means it’s owned by all who utilize it.

It’s not a resort.
It’s not a program on paper.

It’s a sanctuary built on sweat, sacrifice, and purpose.
A place where healing happens the old way… in the woods.

Before therapy rooms… before prescriptions…
there was the outdoors.

That’s what we’re protecting.
That’s what we’re finishing.

WHAT WE NEED

This is the final phase.
We purchased a post and beam kit.

If you or your company can help with:
• finish Materials (at cost or discounted)
• Roofing, doors, Windows, siding
• Skilled labor
• Equipment
• Donations
• Or just good old-fashioned sweat equity
• plumbing
………

we need you now.

Anyone who knows me knows I don’t ask for help.
I take pride in doing the hard work the work no one else wants.

But this is different.

This is my last full push.

Next year marks my 10th year.
I’ll be stepping back, moving north, and focusing on guiding with my family.

I will always be part of Reboot.
But it’s time for the next generation to carry it forward.

This was never about me.
It was always about you.

And I couldn’t be more proud of what this community has become.

Let’s finish what we started.

Help me complete this dream and cement the legacy of Reboot for the next Guides, healers of the future.

🇺🇸 MISSION: GOLD RUSH – ALASKA 🇺🇸

Operation ReBoot, in partnership with Skookum Gold Camp, is proud to launch an unforgettable opportunity—sending veterans to Alaska for a true gold-prospecting adventure.

Located in the heart of central Alaska, Skookum Gold Camp is a premier, all-inclusive gold camp hosting only 12 guests per week. Veterans will enjoy comfortable lodging, a full-service restaurant with made-to-order meals, ATVs, and access to dredges, high bankers, and all the equipment needed to find real Alaskan gold.

Ground transportation from Fairbanks to camp and back is included for the full week. This is more than a trip—it’s a chance to reset, reconnect, and experience something few ever will.

📅 Selected Week:
Week 8 | August 11–18

The gold is outstanding, the lodging is excellent, the food is unbelievable—and the memories will last a lifetime.

We are seeking 10 Veterans ready to ReBoot in Alaska.
To apply, submit your application to [email protected] and answer one question: Why?

✈️ Veteran Responsibility:
Participants are responsible only for airfare to and Fairbanks Ak.
Plane tickets must be purchased by March 31.
If airfare is not secured by that date, an alternate veteran will be selected.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime mission. Step up. Dig deep. ReBoot.

A big thank you to Rockwood Cottages for hosting our 2026 ORO planning event. We had a great time with some tracking snow, and made an exciting plan for next year.

I wanted to put a thank you out there for a Veteran in zone 18 last week. On Saturday we had a Gray GMC or Chevy pickup with Veteran plates pull up to us in a hurry, as we backed out of a morning spot in a red F-150.
He asked us if we were moose hunting and we said yes. He then told us that he had spotted a cow and a bull nearby and we bolted for the area.
I wanted to let him know that it was actually two bulls, and our hunters got one of them! On top of that, this was a Veteran hunt we were guiding for our chapter of Operation ReBoot OutDoors, Operation Reboot Outdoors Northeast . We were in the morning spot trying to track down two other bulls that I had seen before legal shooting light in the scout truck.

This obviously isn't how we wanted the hunt to go, but we and our hunters were thankful that you came along, I thought it was even cooler that it happened to be another Veteran that pointed us in the right direction. I put around 1500 miles in the scout truck, over 32 miles on my boots and the hunters truck did close to the same. We had multiple bulls on cameras leading up to this hunt. They all disappeared the week of the hunt except for 3 sets of 2 small bulls and a few cows and calves. It was definitely a strange year and we weren't finding the moose in their usual locations. We still had a great hunt and it was a success before we even tagged out.

Thanks again to the Veteran, it's nice to see sportsman being good sportsman for the love of the outdoors.

Sometimes the road ahead doesn’t take you exactly where you hoped to go, but the true value lies in the lessons learned and the growth gained along the way.
This week, Aaron, Luke, and I pushed ourselves, and left nothing on the table. We never gave up, and never let discouragement set in. While our journey didn’t end with the trophy bull we were chasing, it gave us something just as meaningful: camaraderie, laughter, and time for deep self-reflection.
A successful reboot isn’t always about harvesting an animal. Sometimes, it’s simply about being immersed in nature with the right people and letting nature do its quiet work of healing the soul.
