Sweet Potato's Closet Sweet Potato's Closet provides every day needs for local foster families and other at risk youth in Eastern Oregon.

The mission of Sweet Potato's Closet is to provide essential resources and support to individuals and families in need, with a special focus on foster/resource families and at-risk youth, while promoting a caring and inclusive community. This includes clothing, shoes, baby gear, toiletries, school supplies, back packs, blankets, formula, baby food, diapers, wipes, pull ups, toys, and more! This is

done through the amazing generosity of our donors. People can donate their gently used items or new items.

Hey friends! Just a reminder- please don't leave donations at either door when we aren't open. They get strung out outside, get wet, or are just musty and smelly when we come in. 9 times out of 10 they aren't usable.

We have tons of great stuff, here's a couple things we have out on the floor here!

For $1 (and .34 processing fee) you can enter to win a private shopping spree at Sweet Potato's for you AND a friend. Bring a coffee, pick the tunes, and comb our racks for your next treasure. You each can fill an entire shopping cart with clothing, shoes, and books! If you win, I'll get a hold of you, and you'll get to pick a time that works best for you!

This rack of clothes is Sweet Potato's Closet on the go. Free clothes, no questions.
If your business/organization/gathering, is within walking distance of Sweet Potato’s and you want to host The Traveling Tater, message us!
We walk it over to you, then come and pick it up. We even provide shopping bags!

Heck yeah brother!
We got all the requests filled, and can accept just a couple more requests. We are running low on stuff, so it'll only be open for a wee bit, and I'll likely close it again tomorrow, unless we get more tissues/clorax wipes. From here on out, it is NOT promised that we can complete your list. I have 4 boxes of tissues, and one thing of clorax wipes left, so we cannot fulfill Umatilla lists.
IF you put in a request, it's ready, (Unless your initials are TT, or N) please come get it from Sweet Potato's this week. If I don't hear from you, I'm giving it to someone else. So if you can't come this week, give me a hoot and a holler!
