What a beautiful day to be in the garden! As summer seems to be winding down, is everyone planning their winter garden? I love to see the pumpkins plumping and getting ready for Halloween (or pies 🥧), the grapes are stunning and the flowers, wow! Tomatoes & peppers are still strong and lots of sauce to be canned. The corn stalks are drying, perfect for Autumn decor. The garden sure showed up and showed out this summer! Can't wait to see what's coming this fall 🥦🧅🧄🥔🫜🍠🫚

Ahh, the fruits of everyone's labor of gardening love 🤗 What a time to be a gardener in the Hercules Community Garden 🌞 Peaches 🍑 are plump and beautifully fuzzy 😊, grapes 🍇 are preparing for a bountiful harvest, melons 🍉 & pumpkins 🎃 are looking delicious, tomatoes 🍅🍅all shapes, sizes and colors are everywhere! 🌽 is definitely doing well, tree collards are sooo tall, artichokes perching perfectly and the flowers 🌻🌺 are just so happy!!

PRO TIP: This recipe gives an option for oven drying. Today's oven do not have settings low enough to produce a good dehydrated product. If heat is too high, the result can often be a tough product. For best results, dehydrate between 125-140 degrees F. Follow directions from reliable sources.

Greetings Community Gardeners & Friends, it's almost the middle of July, can you believe it? Where does the time go? The garden is absolutely beautiful! The corn 🌽 is looking incredible, tomatoes 🍅 everywhere, flowers gorgeous 🌷🌹🪻, grapes 🍇 galore, melons 🍉plumping nicely and those never-ending squash are still going strong (but don't they always?)!

This is the garden's magic,
That through the sunny hours,
The gardener who tends it,
Himself outgrows his flowers.
