Today Rodeo-Hercules Fire family adds a new memeber Caden Jones. Caden has spent the last 20 weeks in Contra Costa County Fire’s academy, where he learned valuable skill and knowledge he will need to protect our community. Yesterday was his first day as a firefighter at our Rodeo station 75. Congratulate Caden and welcome.

Please join us as we celebrate the annexation of the Rodeo-Hercules Fire Protection District by the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District!

The event will feature guest speakers from both fire districts, local elected officials from Contra Costa County, and representatives from Rodeo and Hercules. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to an open house showcasing fire apparatus, equipment displays, and live demonstrations.

Date: July 1, 2025
Time: Ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m., with an Open House to follow until 2:00 p.m.
Location: Fire Station 76, 1680 Refugio Valley Road, Hercules
Parking: Handicap parking is available at Fire Station 76. All other parking will be reserved at Hercules High School at 1900 Refugio Valley Road. A free parking shuttle will be running throughout the duration of the event.

A light lunch for the community is generously being provided by Phillips 66!

Thank you to the Hercules Senior Center for hosting the annual Spring Into Wellness Fair! B-shift firefighters gave blood pressure readings to anyone who wanted one and they handed out healthy snacks too.
