After Black Friday and Cyber Monday comes , a global day of giving back.

Double your impact! Thanks to a the generosity of the California 4-H Foundation board and an anonymous donor, all gifts to 4-H programs made on November 29th will be matched 1:1, up to a total of $20,000!

is a time for the world to come together & show how powerful humanity can be when we unite to give on one day. Join a movement to celebrate giving and encourage more, better and smarter giving during the holiday season.

Horses Healing Heroes, a nonprofit in Herald offering free equine-assisted psychotherapy to Veterans, Law Enforcement and 1st responders, is holding a fundraiser on Oct. 23. We are looking for 4 - 6 high school 4-H students needing community service hours to monitor the horses after the trail ride while the riders are having lunch and wine tasting. On Hwy. 16 between before you get to the 124 turnoff to Ione. 1:30 - 4:30/5:00. Duty is to walk the parking lot where the horses are tied to the trailers keeping an eye of the horses, notifying us if it looks like any of the horses are getting into mischief.
If you are interested, please contact Deborah Larson at [email protected]
