Sharon knows what it feels like to be on the other side of the system... When someone is struggling and instead of support, they’re met with control and a kind of "care" that's dehumanizing. In places meant to help, too many people were being treated like a diagnosis instead of a person.
That reality could have broken her. Instead, it lit a fire.
Sharon turned pain into purpose, pursuing education and dedicating her life to building the kind of care she once needed: compassionate and voluntary. Today, she leads with lived experience and a deep belief in recovery, because she is living proof that healing is possible.
