The mission of March2Recovery is to provide disaster recovery services to individuals and families affected by the March 2, 2012 tornadoes in Southern Indiana. Serving Washington, Clark and Jefferson Counties in long term recovery through case management, construction, volunteer management, spiritual and emotional needs to restore people to safe, secure and sanitary housing.

The Clark County EMA is giving away weather radios to Clark county Residents!

We are adding TWO DATES for Clark County residents to pick up a FREE weather radio: April 4th & 5th! These two dates will be the last chance to get a weather radio until further notice.
We have plenty of radios left so PLEASE come out if you haven't made it to one of our weather radio distribution days already.
April 4th 4pm-7pm at Tri-Township Fire Dept Station 2 at 1000 Main St in Memphis, IN
April 5th 12pm-4pm at Clark County Fairgrounds at 9608 SR62 in Charlestown, IN

communities pitched in to help the victims.
Learn about tornado safety; about how to become a storm watcher; about how to anticipate tornadoes. Experience tornado winds and feel the weight of the hail that rained down on Clark County. The exhibit will run through March 2022.

It's almost been 10 years since the March 2, 2012 tornado happened. The Clark County Museum in Jeffersonville, IN is planning to have an exhibit about the tornado and all the efforts that occurred to help the communities recovery during the month of March. A reception will be held on Monday, March 7th. Watch for more specifics on this page and in the media. March 2, 2012 storm survivors need to be aware of feelings that may arise from coverage of the devastation in Kentucky. Limit time watching TV scenes about it. Check in with your kids and each other. Be gentle with yourself and call a friend, a counselor or your minister if you need to talk about it. These feelings are normal.
