First, our Indian Ed program would like to say congratulations to our senior class of 2026! It was a great day to have our first inaugural banquet for our Native seniors and their families! We had many in attendance, as well as, many representatives from the Muscogee Creek Nation there to offer support and words of encouragement as their time as students of HPS soon comes to a close. Mvto to all of the royalty, speakers, staff, parent committees and parents that made this night possible! Seniors, best of luck in your future endeavors!

After 20+ years with JOM, it’s time for me to step away. What began as volunteering as a homeroom mom when my daughter was in school and chaperoning all the field trips grew into briefly serving on the board when they needed to fill a seat, and eventually managing the JOM page behind the scenes for the past 10+ years.

With my son graduating and no other children in school, I’ll be resigning from all positions and passing things along. I’m grateful for the experiences, the people, and the memories made along the way.

I’m happy to hand over full control of the JOM page to our coordinator, Bryan Leader. I know it’s in good hands.

Thank you all for being part of this journey with me.
