It was a very exciting day here in Kigoma today as all the windows were installed in the new house. The studding for the ceiling board is going up now as well. The electrician is planning to start this week and the outside doors are scheduled to be installed at the end of this week or beginning of next week. We are making huge progress!!! Thank you to everyone helping to make this possible.
We are hoping to have the house move-in ready by next month to get our girls in a much safer environment.

URGENT REQUEST!

We arrived in Kigoma on Wednesday afternoon and settled into our guest house quickly. However, after meeting with Elice and Adoneth today, we find ourselves facing an urgent situation that we didn't expect.
For the past 12 years, the house we rent has been a peaceful home for Elice and the kids. Recently, a new family moved into the small secondary house on the property, and the situation has become incredibly difficult. The man of the household has begun claiming ownership of the entire property, despite being a tenant just like us.
More pressingly, he is refusing to pen his chickens, which are now running wild across the property. It has become a significant health hazard; the porch and grounds are covered in waste, making it nearly impossible to walk without stepping in it. Furthermore, he has blocked Elice from planting the seasonal garden that the family partially relies on for food.
Because of his military employment and local cultural dynamics (him being a man), he ignores Elice’s requests and has created a hostile, unsafe environment. As if that wasn’t enough, he also has a significant drinking problem. While I plan to speak with him firmly and respectfully, we are deeply concerned that my intervention will only lead to further harassment of Elice once I leave.

This is a bad living situation for the health and safety of our young girls.

Because of this, we need to finish the construction of our new house immediately. We are writing to ask if you would consider partnering with us financially to help us complete this build as soon as possible.
If you have never given before, please consider joining us now. If you have partnered with us in the past, we are so grateful and ask that you would consider a special gift for this time of need. We would not send this request out if the situation weren't so critical.

Happy new year! We just want to thank you all for your prayers and support in 2025.
Just a few photos to wrap up the year....our kids program had a lovely Christmas party. Each child received a hot meal, some treats and new shoes. The impact of providing a few things to these children is truly special especially knowing those were the only gifts most of them received.
We gifted the Clinton family so they could have a nice Christmas dinner which they shared with some of their friends.
We were also able to bless Robert's family during their first holiday season without Brandina.
Your generosity allows us to continue reaching and serving lives in Tanzania.

This is the difference that you can make. The picture on the left is our girl Happiness when we found her, living in the streets, begging and stealing food to survive. The picture on the right is Happiness now, safe, happy and thriving.
Even small contributions add up to significant and lasting changes for these children.

Our kids club.....most of these children live in pretty dire circumstances. We provide juice, snacks, soap, and teaching about health, hygiene and that God loves them. Hope for an actual future in a place where that seems impossible at times.
