The Carlon-Walters American Legion Post 18 would like to thank everyone who made our Community Burger Burn a great success.
First, thank you to the community for coming out to spend time in fellowship with one another. We truly hope you enjoyed yourselves and look forward to seeing you at the next one!
To all the members of the Post and their families who not only attended to cook and serve, but also worked hard over the last several days to shop, prepare, set up, and clean up—thank you for your dedication and service. We hope you get some well-deserved time to relax and recover.
A special thank you to Michael Kurtz from Thomas Fowler American Legion Post #169 for continuing to support fellow Posts throughout the District Thirteen American Legion Department of Texas, and for coming out to cook alongside us.
Thank you to Tyler Aylor, who arrived early to help move tables and chairs, stayed throughout the event to cook, and remained afterward to help tear everything down.
We would also like to thank the 9 Man Board and the Clay County Pioneer Association (Clay County Pioneer Reunion) for graciously providing tables and chairs so members of our community would have a place to sit, eat, and enjoy time together.
Thank you to the Clay County Texas, Commissioners Court for approving the use of the courthouse restrooms, and to Judge Mike Campbell for his continued support of our organization and the veterans of Clay County.
If we missed anyone, please let us know in the comments so we can properly recognize your contribution.
Once again, thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and supported this event. Together, you helped make this a wonderful day of fellowship, service, and community. Thank you for helping make Henrietta such a great place to call home.
