LODGE OF SORROWS
It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Rochester Lodge #24 member Susan "Kitty" Kirwin on Wednesday, June 24, at the age of 70.

Kitty was a dedicated volunteer at Gilda's Club (now Cancer Community Support at Gilda's Club), giving sewing instruction. She made hundreds of face masks, honoring fabric requests for sport teams, holidays, and, of course, cats, during COVID. Kitty was part of Gilda's Club's Outreach volunteers, going to festivals to inform people about the organization. She was introduced to Elkdom through her participation in Elks Against Cancer.

Kitty was initiated into the order on September 27, 2023, by Exalted Ruler Ken maul, and remained a member in good standing for three years. Since joining the lodge, among other events, she could be seen working behind the raffle tables at the annual Clambake, and helping at the entrance tent..

Our hearts and prayers go out to her family and friends.
