👜 Make Your Own Leather Bag

Our fall leatherworking workshop has concluded, and I’m excited to start winter classes on Sundays and Thursdays in January. We still have a few extra spots available for one or two students in the Thursday class.

You’ll learn how to design and create a beautiful leather bag from start to finish. Gain the most valuable skills in leather craftsmanship, build confidence, and enjoy a truly hands-on creative experience.

When it comes to a happy ending — you do the dance! 💃🕺

It was such a joy to see my students feeling proud and happy with what they created in my leather crafting studio at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, VA.

This amazing group of veterans had never worked with leather before — but after just 12 hours of focused, hands-on work, each of them walked away with a hand-braided leather iPhone pouch that can be worn on a belt.

Hard work, new skills, and big smiles — that’s the magic of craft. 🧵💪📱
