The conflict resolution field has long focused on repairing relationships after a dispute breaks out. But what if practitioners could intervene earlier — before conflict takes hold?

This workshop, led by Chuck Boles introduces a proactive alternative to traditional dispute resolution: a seven-step process for recognizing and defusing tension before it escalates into a full-blown dispute.

Attendees will leave with a practical framework — and a new service offering they can bring straight to clients.

On September 26th, VNM members voted to rename the organization to the VIRGINIA CONFLICT RESOLUTION NETWORK as well as change our IRS status from a 501(c)(6) to a 501(c)(3).

❓What does this mean for the future of VNM?
This name change formally opens the doors to all conflict resolution professionals, from mediators to arbitrators and ombudpersons. We will continue to provide the same quality of education and professional collaboration we have for the past four decades.

❓Why change IRS status?
This change allows VNM to function as it's always intended to be: a resource for the greater public.

We are elated for what the future holds and hope you will join us!
