Shelley Pulliam, was inspired when learning of family and friends involved in domestic violence was recruited by Arvla. Shelley proved to be an asset and very eager to learn more often attending seminars and legislative meetings
The House of Tamar motto "Breaking The Silence" influence by the needless injuries and deaths of victims that could have been avoided with education. The biggest obstacle is 'fear" and not knowing even now 2011 I still am approached with we did or she did not know who to call. Or a victim wanted to leave but the abuser provided. Noone should feel stuck in a situation. We at the House of Tamar give you options, you can leave or you can stay, but protect those that cannot protect themselves, your children.
