The Jessica Beath Foundation is currently soliciting grant applications for a grant of up to $10,000 to any Richmond area tax exempt organization involved in animal care or animal rescue.

Organizations that are interested in competing for a grant should write a letter addressed to The Jessica Beath Foundation, C/O Ameriprise, 3951 Westerre Parkway, Suite 100, Henrico VA 23233 that includes a little bit about the organization’s mission, structure and accomplishments as well as a description of how the funds would be used. Please also provide contact information. The deadline for application is February 10, 2017. Grant funds may be awarded as part of a matching gift campaign to encourage organizations’ existing and potential donors to give more.

For an organization to be eligible, it must have current tax exempt status and have its most recent annual tax filing available at www.Guidestar.org

The Jessica Beath foundation has agreed to a dollar for dollar match of certain donations made to Stop Child Abuse Now and Beds for Kids, Inc both of Richmond through December 1, 2015. Details of the match are available from the respective organizations. Both of these organizations fit with Jessica's desire to assist those of us less fortunate. Please help support their causes with a generous donation.
