For some, recovery is the way you live your life. The 12 steps can be found in a lot of what you do throughout the day. However, it wasn’t always that way.

There are a lot of people, perhaps our friends, who are ready to start their recovery but aren’t sure how. Maybe your story could help them find the courage to start?

It sounds kinda obvious, but if you never talk about your recovery, then less people may benefit from the work God has done in your life. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find Christ’s healing power in your recovery… but not everyone knows that.

Consider sharing this post if you think those that follow you could use a nudge to find lasting freedom in recovery as well.

We look forward to seeing you tonight at 6:30 PM!

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:17-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We suffer set backs, loss and hurt in our lives… but he assured today that Jesus is there for you and cares for you. Draw close to Him and He sill draw close to you.

If you’ve spent time with people who frequent Celebrate Recovery, you have met people who feel like family. What is it about CR that produces such connections?

“If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. All of you together are Christ’s body, and each one of you is a part of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:26-27 NLT

When you sit with others and their pain, you gain a connection with them that is incredibly special. And once you feel that, you will do whatever you can to sit with whoever you can whenever you can!

we are all part of Christ’s body…
we are together, never alone!

If you’re feeling isolated, we would love for you to join us tonight or any Tuesday at 6:30pm to connect with others in the body of Christ.

Poor choices can stick to us like a chewed piece of gum. Worse, they aren’t always our choices.

However we don’t have to be miserable because poor choices may negatively impact our lives. Instead, we can use all the flaws to motivate us on toward God’s best for our lives.

Today, don’t focus on the mess, but focus on God’s plan for your life.

At some point in their lives, most people in recovery face the truth of their past. They grow to understand that who they are…and certainly not who they are becoming.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We all have the promise of a fresh start in Jesus! We get to walk in newness of life in God’s will for our lives!

Embrace Change…

Do you remember how the first day of junior high felt?
Do you remember life before the pandemic?
Or maybe the first time you attended Celebrate Recovery?
Or how you felt when you turned your life over to Jesus?

Change is necessary for recovery. No change, no recovery.

We must come to a place where we decide to surrender, and turn our lives over to Jesus and embrace His changes for our lives.
Life will never be the same once Jesus begins to lead our recovery, and that’s a really awesome thing!!

“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:9-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬
