Ever wonder how people lived over 150 years ago? Step into the past as we open the Pulsifer House museum in Hennepin for 2026 on Wednesday, March 18th from 10-3. Our normal hours will be 10-3 on Wednesdays and Fridays until December.

Save the date! Our Open House featuring all three of our exhibit filled buildings will be held 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2025. In addition, lunch will be available for purchase at the meeting house. Come enjoy a pork chop, barbeque or hotdog sandwich with the trimmings. Hope to see you there!

Please join us at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2025 at The Meeting House in Hennepin for a program on the Vietnam War presented by Raymond Torres.
Corpsman Torres is an U.S Navy veteran with a long history of delivering his presentation on his experiences in the war. He speaks at colleges, high schools, middle schools, grade schools and for community groups. In addition, he has received multiple honors for his efforts.

Also, please note the time is 1:00 p.m., not 1:30 p.m. as stated on the fliers that have posted in the communities. Hope to see you there.

We are looking forward to our annual meeting and dinner to be held 6:00 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Meeting House in Hennepin. Jeff Hensel will present a program titled "Hennepin, IL in the 1830's-An Important Time in Frontier History". All are welcome. Please refer to the poster for ticket information. If possible, we would like to have a head count by Wednesday, April 2. We hope to see you there!
